Arcane Lineage Quest Guide
Town errands with real rewards. Take Daze. Skip the NPC who steals your gold until you mean it.
Arcane Lineage hides a lot of “how do I start” behind NPCs who do not have quest markers in the way other Roblox RPGs do. This page is the practical list: the errands that unlock a skill, an enchant, or an alignment lean, and the ones that only exist to vacuum gold. Pair it with getting started, trainers, and the world map. The clip in the middle of this article is a full walk. Use the timestamps. Confirm rooms with Left Ctrl and Trello — Grove art has moved a hallway before.
Bring 500 to 1,000 gold and a small pile of ingredients (Everthistle, Carnal, Chrythem, a Sand Core, slime chunks, Crylight) if you plan to chain Caldera and Westwood in one sitting. You do not need a spreadsheet for Daze. You need one if you are ticking Pentant.
Take these on a first life
Yorn — Daze. The first real skill. Slime kills, turn in, own a doubling hit. If you skip Yorn you are fighting early bosses with one hand. The boss method assumes you have this.
H.T. Louie — Encyclopedia. Mator’s book is how you remember what a potion does. Unlock it before you brew garbage.
Bounty Board. The legal salary. Listed packs, turn in, repeat. This is the gold farm opening hour.
Potion help / ingredient help. Town NPCs who want a brew or a plant. Cheap, close, and they teach you where the Alchemist loop lives. Subclasses is the desk; this is the errand.
Guild request. One Sand Core to the NPC left of the shop. Pure / Orderly reputation. Easy. Do it when you already have a core, not as a desert expedition.
Alignment and reputation errands
Some Caldera and Westwood walks exist to push Orderly / Pure or Chaotic rather than to drop a weapon. Community full-clears still chain:
- Package delivery
- Looking for help
- Bone quest
- Tor’run’s Flower
- Crylight needed
- Narthana’s Leaf pickup (the gear piece has a quest-shaped cousin — do not confuse the errand with the drop)
- “Someone is going to die” and “push the dude” — short, easy to miss, easy to skip if you did not want that lean
Do them in order if you are drinking reputation potions and chasing a specific alignment for a Super Class. Ranger wants Orderly. Assassin wants the other hallway. Mixing a chaotic murder errand into an Orderly Ranger plan is how Westwood refuses to teach you.
Spare gold. An arch NPC who takes your money. Do not talk to him with a full purse unless the quest is the point. Fifty gold in the pocket is the usual advice. This is the opposite of a farm.
Enchant and late quests
Cursed enchant quest. Westwood, left into a small cave. Starting this quest and finishing the Cursed glow are different checkboxes. Pentant trackers sometimes only need the start. Read which list you are on.
Midas is a quest-shaped obtain (dragon plus 250 Tinker sales) that lives on the enchants page, not here. Inferno is parkour, not an NPC clipboard.
Covenant boards are not the Caldera Bounty Board. Blades of the World only counts hideout requests. Way of Life wants Mossy Runes. Church of Raphion wants you to press Bless. Cult wants Soul Absorb executes. Those ranks are identities. They are not “quest 12.”
Corruption is a Grove questline (Seraphon, Yorn, Cursed Grove, Moria dialogue). It has its own walkthrough. Do not spam-click that conversation.
Withered Grove the zone is a hole in a wall off Caldera’s tree exit, not a clipboard. Location guide. Cursed Grove the quest is a different pin.
What to skip until Super Class
- Mark census work. Venia wants Midas and 50k. Pentant wants a bestiary and Metrom. That is a second-life project.
- Capstone covenant raids (Seraphon, Arkhaia). Bring a party. They are bosses wearing a faction hat.
- Event egg / ivory cosmetics from Unearthed recaps. Fun. Not Daze.
- Any NPC who asks you to wipe. Read lives first.
How to run a quest hour without getting lost
- Toggle location icons with Left Ctrl.
- Do Yorn and the Encyclopedia before you leave spawn flavor.
- Chain Caldera clipboards while the Tinker buys your slime chunks.
- Walk Westwood only after you have a class and a reason (Cursed cave, Ranger trainer, Leaf).
- If an NPC asks for an ingredient you do not have, write the name and farm it on the next loop. Do not wander the desert for one Sand Core without a map.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which Arcane Lineage quest should I do first?
Yorn’s Daze, then the Encyclopedia, then the Bounty Board. Everything else is optional until you own a class.
What does the spare gold quest do?
An NPC takes your gold. Only start it with a small purse. It is not a farm.
Do quests change alignment?
Some Caldera and Westwood errands lean Orderly or Chaotic. Chain them on purpose if you already know the Super Class you want.
Is the Cursed cave a mark quest?
It starts the Cursed enchant. Pentant trackers sometimes count the start. Finishing the glow is a different checkbox.
