Arcane Lineage Super Classes

The level 15 fork. Ten common titles, one Base Class each, and an alignment check you should read before the walk.

Super Classes

Super Classes are the identity lock. You do not pick them on the title screen. You buy a weapon at level 5, play a Base Class, then walk to a second trainer around level 15 and hope alignment still likes you. This page is the roster. Power ranks live on the Super Class tier list. Unlock steps for the first kit live on how to get a class.

If a YouTube title says “all Superclass locations,” treat the rooms as perishable. Confirm the tile on the Ultimate Trello the day you walk.

The ten common forks

Base ClassFork AFork BWhat the pair is for
WarriorBerserkerPaladinSelfish steel or the party babysitter
ThiefAssassinRogueSingle-target deletion or tempo and tools
SlayerImpalerSaintPoison holes or a support-shaped spear
Martial ArtistDarkwraithMonkSelfish cestus or the other babysitter
WizardNecromancerElementalistMinions and pressure or elemental backline

Those ten names are the ones a new account should plan around. Musician, Beastmaster, and Alchemist appear in older writeups. If you see a live trainer for one, treat it as unranked until you have a sample. Do not plan a first life around a kit you cannot find in Caldera.

Warrior forks

Paladin is why people stay in the party. Mitigation and frontline tools turn missed yellows into stories. It is the default first Super Class if you like your friends.

Berserker is the meaner sword. Take it when the group already has a babysitter, or when you are the babysitter and you are tired. It still wants Strength and a habit of Guarding the slam you do not know.

Thief forks

Assassin keeps the blind-and-bleed DNA and spends it on one target. It needs someone else to hold slams. It is not a solo Legendary plan.

Rogue is easier to underrate. More tools, more gold, less “I am the boss button.” Dungeons without a Rogue feel slower even when the bar is clean.

Slayer forks

Impaler is poison and holes. When yellow is already a habit, named enemies look suddenly mortal. When yellow is random, the poison never mattered.

Saint is the support-shaped spear. The name confuses people into thinking it is Paladin. It is not. It is a Slayer who brought a kit instead of only a hole.

Martial Artist forks

Monk is the other reason a first account lives. Blocks forgive chip. The fork still teaches the game after the title changes.

Darkwraith is the selfish cestus. High ceiling, worse at being the only adult in the room. Take it when a Paladin or Monk already exists.

Wizard forks

Necromancer is the scary staff. Minions and pressure that make bosses shorter. Still a backliner. Still allergic to solo slams.

Elementalist is the elemental staff. Flashier in some patches, hungrier for Arcane, hungrier for a party that keeps you off the targeting table. If you picked Wizard to avoid timing games, both forks will disappoint you. You still have the shared dodge bar plus a cast minigame.

How the fork actually happens

  1. Own a Base Class. There is no Super Class without the weapon handshake.
  2. Reach the mid-teens. Community guides say around level 15. A patch can move the number. Trello wins.
  3. Check alignment. Orderly, Neutral, or Chaotic can silence a room.
  4. Walk to the trainer with Left Ctrl icons on. The world page is the town half of that walk.
  5. Play the new kit on slimes before you take a named enemy. A title does not dodge.

Spend the first Super Class Soul points into health. A new name does not replace Endurance.

What this roster is not

This is not a tier list. Paladin and Monk sit at the top of the ranked page because parties wipe less, not because the other eight names are jokes. Pick the fork that matches the weapon you already bought and the race you actually rolled. Rerolling a Super Class because a thumbnail moved one name from A to B is how people never see Grove bosses.

After you pick a name, read alignment, then the tier list, then go play. If you do not have a Base Class yet, you are in the wrong wing. Buy a weapon first.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

When do Super Classes unlock?

Around level 15 after you own a Base Class, plus trainer and alignment checks that can move by patch.

What is the best first Super Class?

Paladin or Monk if you play with other people. They keep a party standing while you learn later bosses.

Can I change Super Class later?

Plan as if the first fork is the identity. Do not spend ten levels aiming at a second title the live rules may not allow.

Where are the trainers?

On the Ultimate Trello the day you walk. Old YouTube hallways go stale. Use Left Ctrl in town.
