Arcane Lineage Loadouts
Race lean, three points a level, and a first Super Class that does not fight the kit.
A loadout in Arcane Lineage is not a 40-piece set. It is the race you kept, the weapon you bought at level 5, the three points you spend each level, and the Super Class you can actually walk to. This page is the class-by-class version. The shorter stat sheet lives on beginner builds. The pairing rules live on best class for every race. The counter lives on the stat calculator.
Every spread below assumes Hard mode, Daze from Yorn, and a player who has at least tried to hit yellow. If that is not you, the getting started page is the loadout.
What a loadout is allowed to include
- Race lean, not a rotting name. Magic, body, gold/speed, or flexible. Confirm the live name on Trello.
- One damage stat. Strength for steel and fists. Arcane for staffs. Do not split them on a first life.
- Endurance until chip stops deleting a life. Then Luck if you care about the next drop. Speed last.
- Soul Tree health. A new title does not replace the Soul Tree.
- One Super Class fork you can reach with your alignment. Plan Paladin only if you will still be Orderly enough to talk to the trainer.
Gear and enchants sit on top. They do not press Space. The items page explains why a scroll is not a dodge.
Warrior loadout
Race: body or flexible. A magic lean can still Guard. It will not make Pommel Strike scary.
Stats to 10: twelve Endurance, nine Strength, nine Luck. That is thirty points and the default physical dump. If the lineage already stuffed Strength, keep Endurance anyway.
Skills: Daze first. Pommel Strike when you need a stun chance. Double Slash when the target is already weakened. Guard the slam you do not know.
Fork: Paladin if you like your party. Berserker if the group already has a babysitter. Warrior is how you volunteer to be targeted. Build like it.
Thief loadout
Race: gold, speed, or flexible. Pure Strength still blinds. Pure Arcane still blinds. Neither should stand in front.
Stats to 10: twelve Endurance, nine Luck, nine Strength. Luck earns the next shard. Strength makes Stab more than a scratch. Speed can wait until you can afford a joke death.
Skills: Pocket Sand is the party button. Stab is the rent. Daze still belongs on the bar.
Fork: Assassin if someone else holds slams. Rogue if the dungeon feels slow without tools. Thief prints the economy the Lineage Shard page is trying to fund.
Slayer loadout
Race: body or flexible, and only after yellow is a habit. Poison wants fights that last. A glass magic roll dies on turn two and the poison never mattered.
Stats to 10: eleven Endurance, ten Strength, nine Luck. Even-ish. You will stay in packs longer than a Warrior who Guards every new animation.
Skills: Serpent Strike for the poison tax. Triple Strike when the target is already sick. Daze because every early kit wants Daze.
Fork: Impaler if you want holes. Saint if your party already has holes and needs a support-shaped spear. Slayer is not a first character unless you already cleared the boss guide on something tankier.
Martial Artist loadout
Race: almost anything. This is the default first loadout on the class tier list for a reason. Endure plus Iron Body forgive a bad roll.
Stats to 10: twelve Endurance, nine Strength, nine Luck. Same physical bank as Warrior. The kit just misses less when you panic.
Skills: Endure as the panic button. Barrage when the boss is weakened. Daze on the opener.
Fork: Monk if you want to keep friends. Darkwraith if a Paladin or Monk already exists and you want the selfish cestus. Martial Artist is how the game teaches combat without deleting you for one mistake.
Wizard loadout
Race: magic or flexible plus a party. Coward only helps if someone else exists. A body lineage into Wizard is two timing bars and none of the health.
Stats to 10: twelve Endurance, nine Arcane, nine Luck. Swap Strength for Arcane. Do not Speed-first. Do not starve health so Missile looks bigger in town.
Skills: Magic Missile after the cast minigame. Daze still belongs on the bar. You are not the slam magnet unless the tank walked away.
Fork: Necromancer or Elementalist, both assuming you lived to 15. Solo Wizard is a review warning, not a loadout. Take this kit in a party or take a cestus.
How to spend a fat Essence bank
If you dumped a giant Essence orb and jumped several levels, spend the lump in the same ratio. A 6–6–3 dump into Speed because the character “felt slow” is how people arrive at a named enemy with a glass body and a great jog. The calculator will not stop you. The next pack will.
If the lineage already overpaid the wrong bar, do not “balance” by starving Endurance. Overpay the missing damage stat later. If that tax is ugly enough to make you quit, you have a shard problem, not a loadout problem.
What these loadouts are not
They are not endgame theorycraft. They are not PvP. They are not a promise that a Grove enchant will not shuffle the math. When updates retune a Super Class, we change the fork sentence, not the “buy Endurance” sentence.
A YouTube loadout video is a snapshot of race-plus-stats for one week. Use it for the shape. Confirm the names on Trello. Then play the kit on slimes before you take a boss. A title card does not dodge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is a loadout in Arcane Lineage?
Race lean plus a Base Class, a three-stat dump, and a Super Class you can actually reach. It is not a 40-piece set.
Which loadout should a new player use?
Martial Artist on a flexible or body race, Endurance then Strength then Luck, Monk if you play with other people.
Can I copy a YouTube loadout exactly?
Copy the shape. Confirm the race name and trainer on Trello the day you play. Seasonal names go stale.
Do I respec a bad dump?
Plan as if you cannot. A new soul slot or a shard wipe is the real respec, and both cost a character.
