Lionheart in Arcane Lineage

Lionheart is the Super Class name that started showing up in community builders next to Paladin, Berserker, and the Neutral tanks. Players search it because thumbnails promise an immortal bruiser. This page is the honest version: what the kit is for, who should take it, and what it does not replace. Live trainer rooms still live on the Ultimate Trello. Alignment still lives on the alignment page.

Lionheart is not a Caldera Base Class. You still buy a town weapon at level 5 and play a Base until the mid-teens. The five shop keys are still Warrior, Thief, Slayer, Martial Artist, and Wizard. Axe and Hammer appear later as extra QTE bars in community trainers. They do not skip that handshake. Read how to get a class first if you do not own a kit yet.

What Lionheart is for

Builders treat Lionheart as an Endurance bruiser. You stand in front. You scale with the bar that keeps you alive. You are not the Speed Ranger. You are not the Arcane backline. Race pairings that keep showing up are Gynx, Estella, Ophimar, Daminos, and Amorus — body or sustain lineages, not Corvolus glass.

That job overlaps Paladin. Paladin is still the party babysitter with a holy-shaped kit and an Orderly gate. Lionheart is the “I will not fall over” seat when the group already has a Saint or when you want the soak without playing the Paladin poem. If your friends need a mitigator, take Paladin. If they need a stubborn body who also hits, Lionheart is the search they meant.

Community gear talk mentions Endurance-scaling strikes and pieces nicknamed like Pathfinder’s Mark. Those names move. Confirm the live item card before you vendor a working shield for a glow. Enchants still do not press Space.

How it sits on the Super Class map

The original ten forks are still the plan for a first account:

• Warrior → Berserker or Paladin
• Thief → Assassin or Rogue
• Slayer → Impaler or Saint
• Martial Artist → Darkwraith or Monk
• Wizard → Necromancer or Elementalist

On top of that, Neutral Super Classes exist: Blade Dancer, Lancer, Brawler, Hexer. Neutrals can be learned regardless of Orderly or Chaotic. They cost more gold per skill. Ranger is an Orderly forest fork with its own trainer. Lionheart belongs in that “later identity” layer with Citadel and Arbiter names builders also list. Do not plan a first life around a trainer you cannot find under Left Ctrl.

How to play it without griefing yourself

1. Own a Base Class you will actually swing until the fork.
2. Stack Endurance like a loadout, not like a meme. Strength still feeds physical hits. Luck is loot, not a tank stat.
3. Guard unread slams. Lionheart does not delete the yellow window.
4. Take a party to named fights. “Solo Lionheart” clips are people who already knew the bar.
5. If Grove is live, stamp Corruption after the fork, not instead of it. Soul Ignition is a transform, not a Super Class.

Mastery talk in community clips often warns against a self-damage node setup. If a video says “never take 1-1,” treat that as a patch-week rumour until Trello repeats it. Do not brick a tree because a short told you to.

When not to take Lionheart

• You still miss yellow on slimes. Buy Martial Artist or Warrior and learn Guard. The class tier list is blunt about first characters.
• Your party already has two soakers and nobody applies Daze or poison. Take Impaler, Assassin, or Hexer.
• You wanted Ranger because a luck video said 80% crit. That is a different Super Class and a different race plan.
• You cannot reclear after a Gynx wipe. Lionheart on a fresh level 5 is still a town character. The title does not spawn with you.
